The solution would burn, in theory, $1 million to $2 million USD of SHIB for every 3 billion plays of a single video. I approached this conclusion from reading this Forbes article that surmises “…YouTube may pay as little as $0.0006 for every view, …”, at the time of writing the article in comparison to popular artists on the platform.
In actuality there really isn’t a need for some burn playlist. We, as a group of over 1 million, just need a single video on a verified account somewhere. Everyone from podcasters, hobbyists, to online celebrities of every nature, etc. etc. have fans that watch their content non-stop over and over again, which they themselves overly promote and even openly watch themselves. As per Youtube, as an example because of the article, on the Youtube platform there would just need to be one video that is around 150 seconds to 300 seconds long with advertisements.
If we then watch that video on and off with breaks in-between for over 132 hours (5.5 days … btw I chose the hour value of 5.5 days because $1 million USD was the target figure of ‘x’ and I rounded down) we could potentially hit 3.065 Billion Views in less than a week with content that is around 150 seconds in length being played consistently for 24 hours a day from all 1 million SHIB users (I rounded down again on all these figures).
5.5 days X 24 hours = 132 hours in total over 5.5 days
132 hours = 475,200 seconds in total over 5.5 days
475,200 seconds / 155 second video = 3,065.81 views over 5.5 days from 1 consistent viewer
3,065.81 views from 1 viewer over 5.5 days X 1,000,000 dedicated viewers =
3,065,806,451.61 Views
Again, based on the article that is $1 Million to $2 Million USD on a video over 3 Billion Views.
Then publicly the channel admins purchase SHIB with the viewership money earned over a livestream on the social media channel and again burn the SHIB live on the channel every time there is 3 Billion views to create a burning instance similar to that of Bitcoin’s halving, or similar to the current SHIB Burn Playlist.
The current conversion rate as of now for SHIB is $0.0000315 USD.
$1,800,000 USD earned from views / $0.0000315 USD conversion rate to 1 SHIB =
57,142,857,142.85 SHIB (rounded down)
This of course is just a number around 50 Billion SHIB. At this rate it would take around 700 burns (rounded down) to control the SHIB currency by zeroing out the Remaining Supply as a majority. But this is still something to consider because, as we know, views don’t stop at 3 Billion.
589,735,806,748,003 Total Supply – 549,058,074,518,424 Circulating Supply =
40,677,732,229,579 Remaining Supply
40,677,732,229,579 Remaining Supply / 57,142,857,142.85 SHIB (rounded down) =
711 Burns (rounded down)
(Remember Youtube was used as an example based on the Forbes article. There are other platforms other than just plain old Youtube)
TLDR:
Make an official SHIBArmy Burning channel somewhere. Put up 1 piece of content over 150 seconds in length. Each of us view/listen to the content on and off with breaks repeatedly for up to around 130 hours with advertisements. Promote the content to the 1 Million SHIB holders. For every $1 Million USD earned from the single piece of content the channel admins instantly burn the equivalent in SHIB and display the burning live on the same channel whenever $1 Million USD is earned.
