Directions on how to set ShibaSearch as your default search engine in Chrome

As a shib investor and someone who wants to see the number of burns increase in a meaningful way, I have been partaking in every burn idea I’ve seen. One of those is the shibasearch.com search engine, where the team states they’ll burn based on ad revenue.

I started by setting my homepage to shibasearch.com and using the search bar whenever I could, but found myself using the browser address bar 90% of the time due to habit. So I started asking myself, how can I make the address bar use ShibaSearch? Well, others already had the answer, but I haven’t seen a post to help others figure it out. So here we are:

1) Open Chrome

2) Click the vertical ellipses by your profile image

3) Click on Settings

4) Click on Search Engine

5) Click Manage Search Engines

6) Click Add

7) Search Engine > Type ShibaSearch

8) Keyword > Type shibasearch.com

9) URL with %s in place of query > Type https://www.shibasearch.com/%s.html

10) Click Add

11) ShibaSearch > Click vertical ellipses

12) Click Make Default
