One of the selling points of Shiba Inu and its ecosystem and tokenomics is decentralization and relatively fair distribution. I am guessing most new people are just holding Shib at a central exchange, but the point from the start (at least the way I interpret it) was to build our own exchange and be independent from the CEX. Right now, any transactions on Shibaswap cost >$100 so unless you are really doing LARGE transactions, you should probably use a CEX. This however, means no providing liquidity, no digging, staking. So getting into earning Bone right now is mostly for rich people. The longer this goes on, the more uneven the distribution of Bone will be, I think.
I know, gas fees is an ETH problem, not a problem originating within SHIB. I just want to complain anyway.
I know, Shibarium is on the radar. I hope that comes sooner rather than later. To me it seems like quite the technical challenge though and from what I have read we don’t have anything like a timeline for that presented. How long did it take for Polygon to get started? A few years?
