The whole staking thing isn’t for me. I’m not criticizing those who do it and I’m not going to badmouth the ShibaSwap site. But if you get to a point where you’d like to unstake for whatever reason here’s how I did it after about an hour of frustration where the UNSTAKE button would do nothing and I kept going back and forth between apps, chrome tabs, youtube videos, reddit posts trying to figure out what was wrong.
Make sure you have enough ETH for fees or you’ll have to start over. How much? Go safe and get like $75-$100, don’t worry, you’ll get some of it back. Yes, it’s expensive.
If you are using Binance like me, you need to transfer via ERC20 net to your TrustWallet or it won’t count. This was one of my mistakes, I did it via BEP20 because it was cheaper.
Disconnect your TrustWallet from ShibaSwap site if it is logged in.
Connect your TrustWallet to ShibaSwap site (yes again, it needs a “fresh connection”)
Keep the TrustWallet app open and on hand
Go to the Unstake, select your amount and hit Unstake
Approve the transaction on the TrustWallet App
Wait for it to clear, may take a few minutes. It’ll show “Approve” on your recent transactions
Don’t close the TrustWallet App yet
Hit the unstake button on the shibaswap site AGAIN
Approve the transaction on the TrustWallet app AGAIN. And yes, pay the fees AGAIN.
Wait for it to clear and get the “Exited Dog Yard!” on your ShibaSwap recent transactions.
Now the SHIBs are on your TrustWallet and you can transfer them to Binance or whatever. Also you can get the remaining ETH back via BEP20 network which is much much cheaper.
My main error was not disconnecting the TrustWallet’s “old connection” to the ShibaSwap site, this was convenient to check my rewards every week but I later found out I wasn’t getting any notifications.
Hope this helps and save you some time
Also, If there was a simpler way to do it, please feel free to join the discussion, I’m just sharing what worked for me after several attempts and a bit of time.
P.S for you scammers: No, I DO NOT need help with ANYTHING regarding my SHIB, my wallet, etc so don’t even bother messaging me, I’m prob the most skeptic person you’ll ever meet.
