IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: We will no longer be SHIBAdults

Hi all,

Firstly I would like to thank the community for being with us through the incredible crypto journey this has been so far. We have seen the highest of highest and not the lowest of lows (for BTC anyways), so I believe our journey has just started.

I would also like to thank the hard work of all the admins. It was a tremendous effort, especially in the early days (remember shibaswap launch?!). All of us are doing this on top of our regular jobs. We did our best to help as many people as we could.

That is why it is with some nostalgic sadness that we will shut SHIBAdults, and rebrand this Reddit community.
The main reason is that I currently DO NOT trust what the current Shiba Inu team is doing, and I feel it irresponsible to support them – especially since they have never even once acknowledged the excellent work of our admins. Many members of the team, including Shytoshi himself, blocked or banned me when I brought up some issues with the swap tokenomics and what they were doing (issues brought up by Ryoshi himself as well).
While I had let this run independently despite my beliefs, with everything going around now with crypto, I believe everyone should be more responsible when dealing with communities. In no way do I want to be associated with Shib if my fears do come true.

So once again, a huge thank you to everyone. I will not rebrand the community immediately. I will leave this post for a week, hoping that most will see it and decide whether to stay or go.
The rebranding is crypto-related, a project that we have been working on for 15 months and growing. However, I wouldn’t want to impose on anybody who does not want to stay – hence this message.
